HIMCHAN Hospital has been providing specialized medical services and customer services since it opened YONSOO Hospital in Incheon, Korea in 2002 with the slogan "a benevolent art'. It is now Korea’s largest hospital specializing in joints, offering comprehensive medical services for joint-related examinations, checkups, and surgery. It offers a specialized medical system for joint-related diseases ranging from knees, lumbar, feet, shoulders, hip joint, and deformity correction. The staff strive to develop advanced procedures and therapies to help patients to quickly recover after surgery.

It is also a globally recognized joint hospital. For example, its arthritis research center has published more than 67 papers including 28 SCI (Science Citation Index)-level articles through basic and clinical research that has been widely recognized by the international medical community. Moreover, it runs training programs for joint medical specialists from hospitals in the Asia-Pacific region.
