- Has extensive experience in surgery including minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures, endocrine operations (conventional and video-assisted), breast surgery, visceral surgery (gastro intestinal and colorectal operations), hernia repair, anorectal procedures, and emergency procedures, among other surgeries
- Undertakes both diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopies, ERCP and colonoscopies
- Worked as a Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon in one of the provincial health authority serving Nova Scotia, Canada
- Also was associated as General Surgeon with various hospitals in Canada
- Academically, Associated with Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada
- Has many medical research related to general surgery, also participates in international professional conferences and workshops
