  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Sharjah University  

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Has more than 13 years of excellent clinical experience and she worked in several major hospitals within the UAE, focusing on the field of Nursing
  • Since 2014, Served in the field of diabetes as a Diabetes Nurse Educator in Tertiary Diabetes Centers within UAE, gaining significant experience in Diabetes self-management education and support, with in-depth knowledge in dealing with all diabetes management technologies up to date.
  • As a certified Pump Trainer for different types of insulin pumps, she is also a competent expert in handling continuous glucose monitoring systems available within the field.
  •  Based on her research experience, she developed many educational materials related to Diabetes self-management, support, carbohydrate counting and insulin adjustment. 
  •  An excellent educational provider for patients individually and collectively, with comprehensive experience managing diabetes across all types including diabetes during pregnancy.
  •  Published many articles addressing diabetes management and has participated in numerous research studies and diabetes-related clinical trials as a researcher Nurse and studies coordinator. 
  • Received many official invitations to speak at national conferences as a member of numerous associations, including; Emirati Nursing Association and American Association Diabetes Educators.
