The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the University Hospital Sharjah is an incessantly operating unit in the Hospital Circuit across UAE. The Department has specialists with more than 23 years of experience and expertise. Our ICU staff takes a comprehensive approach to caring for ICU patients, including improving patient outcomes and survival rates, reducing complications, shortening lengths of stay in the ICU and enhancing Medication Safety. They are experienced in medical and surgical Intensive Care Medicine, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), management of all types of Mechanical Ventilation, management of Respiratory Failure, Circulatory & Cardiac Failure, Pulmonary Edema as well as Pain Management.
